The math program at Wynne Primary School is based on national and state standards, including Arkansas Curriculum Frameworks. The core curriculum, Investigations in Number, Data, and Space, is one of three elementary math programs recommended by the National Science Foundation. This curriculum provides instruction in the areas of number and operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis and probability. There is a strong emphasis on problem solving, and students work with hands-on materials to learn math concepts and skills for application in the real world.
