The instructional areas are divided into three major groups consisting of a 6th grade wing, a 7th grade wing, and an 8th grade wing. Additional classes are in the center core of the building, and physical educational classes are located in our gymnasium. The junior high has an average enrollment of 720. Accreditations and Academics Wynne Junior High is accredited by the North Central Association of Schools. Aligned with Arkansas Department of Educations state standards, Wynne Junior High's curriculum consists of Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Keyboarding (7th), Career Orientation (8th), and Computer Introduction (8th). Additional instruction and programs are provided in Special Education, Pre-AP (8th Language Arts and Math), Gifted and Talented, Computer Labs, and Library. The Wynne Parent Teacher Student Association called PTSA is very active in the school and community.
