Grades 9-12
This is a beginning course that covers drafting fundamentals and constructions,
beginning with drafting boards followed by computers. It provides students
with the background needed for the computer-aided drafting courses.
Engineering
CAD I
Grades 10-12
Second of four CAD classes. This class starts with simple two-D. All
of the basic CAD commands are covered. Solids are introduced during
the last two weeks of the class.
Prerequisite: Drafting & Design or Teacher Approval

CAD II
Grades 11-12
Third of our four CAD classes. CAD solids and plotting are introduced
in this class. The student moves to more complex solid CAD drawings.

CAD IIB
Grades 11-12
Last of four CAD classes. The student can choose Mechanical or Architectural
CAD. Mechanical is all solids. Architectural consists of house plan
drawings. Nearly all CAD commands are used in both of these areas.
Prerequisite: Engineering CAD II
Architecture
CAD I
Grades 10-12
This class
is an introduction to Architecture and is intended for the serious architecture
student. The student will learn all of the components of basic house
design. The software will be AutoDesk Rivet 6.0.
Prerequisite: Drafting and Design or Teacher Approval

CAD II
Grades 10-12
This class
is a continuation of Architecture I. It is intended to meet the needs
of a student that will continue their studies in the architecture field
after high school graduation. The student will design a home with teacher
guidance and draw this plan on the computer using the Rivet 6.0 software.

Grades 11-12
This class
is a continuation of Architecture I. It is intended to meet the needs
of a senior that will continue their studies in the architecture field
after high school graduation. The student will design a home with teacher
